Ao Nang Beach, Krabi, Thailand-Day 3

We went to Alamanda to watch the Chronicles of Narnia-Prince Caspian.
Well, its a good movie and fairy seems enjoying it too, except for thumbelina, after 'bout half of the show, she keeps on repeating the dialogue from the movie, and keeps on saying 'dah abes...'. nak cepat balik ar tu. Me and h both agreed this is better than the first Narnia.

Well, continue with our journey in Krabi. On the 3rd day, we went for the Krabi rainforest trip. We we brought to the Hot Spring, Emerald Pool, Crystal Pool and the Tiger Cave temple.
Since the place is quite far, the kids slept during the journey.
At the hot spring. But couldnt snap pics of the hotspring. Busy mencuci badan, plus its rain, so i dont bring the camera.

Trip to the Emerald Pool. The pool is fantastic. it was so beautiful. We have to walk bout 1/2 hour, just imagine, h needs to carry thumbelina. She keeps on complaining-penat, tak leh jalan..aduss....
But, hey, all the sweat really worth it. The emerald pool is so beautiful.

The emerald pool. It is crystal clear. Feels like wanna spend a whole day there.

Pics on the way back.

Crystal pond. Ini pun cantik, tapi takleh mandi kat sini.

kena lalu dalam hutan, penat jangan cakap la kan..but its all berbaloi.

Our next stop, the Tiger Cave temple.

Back to hotel, freshen-up and out for dinner and jalan2 along Ao Nang.

We flagged a taxi..yeehaaa.....motor tayar tiga, the kids like it.

Ao Nang Beach, Krabi, Thailand-Day 2

Our adventure started on day 2.
Booked trip to 4 islands today. Those are Phra Nang Cave, Tup Island, Chicken Island and Poda Island or well known as Koh Poda. note: 'koh' means island.

muka2 ceria masa nak pergi

Phra Nang Cave. This is believed to be a spiritual cave for goddess apa ntah la...the beliefs is not meant for religious or anything but may be more to folklore. dah nama nye utk goddess, so sesuai la ngan 'kayu-kayan' kat pintu gua tu kan....hehhe... kelakar la pulak.

We are at Tup Island. Actually people can walk to the other island i.e. the Chicken Island during low tide.
According to the Guide, actually, before the tsunami, people can walk there at any time. But after the tsunami, beting pasir tu might have been 'washed away'.

We all tak pegi the other side pun..maleh nak jalan. So, we end up with swimming and fish-feeding at the Tup Island. It was beautiful.

tempat we all mandi

muka2 yg dah start tanned

This is the Chicken Island. Note the chicken head?

Snorkeling. According to h, Redang Island is much better, so i dont think its worth to snorkle. Plus, if turun, sure bebudak ni nak ikut plak kang, dah la dalam..

This is Koh Poda, where we had our lunch.

Lepas makan, dusyummm, apa lagi, anak2 duyung berkeliaran la...

Back to hotel, freshen-up, nap, then we go to Krabi town by 'bus'. Funny, the kids seems to enjoy various transportation here, we try almost all!!!, taxi, bus, private taxi etc....cuma tuk-tuk aje takde kat sini. Kalau tak, harus ku bawak budak2 ni naik tuk-tuk lak.

The best part of going to country where u cant understand their alphabets- its like been in a strange town, but i enjoyed it. Rasa cam nak gi India lak lepas nih...mencabar sket...heheh...

KFC...but its halal...about 40% of Krabi's are muslim. We have no problem finding the food here.

The market. Things are damn cheap. Tapi nak beli apa kan, takkan nak beli sayur2 dan lauk-pauk nih...just beli buah & i tried the pulut & mangga, marvellous....

rambutan-20baht per kilo..mak aiii..murah gilerr

Saloon. I believe the owner's name is 'porn'. wakaka.....lawak la plak...

Back to Ao Nang. Damn tired. Me and h had a massage, Fairy had her manicure & pedicure. Thumbelina, menyelit sama la pulak...

Back to hotel..zzzzz...

Ao Nang Beach, Krabi, Thailand-Day1

On 26th May'08, we went to Krabi, Thailand.
We stay at Ao Nang Beach, a well-known tourist spot in Krabi.
Not much activity on day-1. Once checked-in, relaxed and have a nap to 'recharge'. The kids enjoying the big swimming pool in late evening

Ao Nang beach. This is the long tail boat. Far behind if I'm not mistaken is the Poda island, Chicken Island and Tup Island.

Our hotel's swimming pool.

Ao Nang-restaurants,bars, masssage service, shops, 7eleven, etc.....along the road.

our dinner. One thing we noticed: the rice is so damn good. Unlike in Malaysia, the rice is so moist, fresh and yummy. makan nasik aje pun dah sedap. I cant resist myself eating the rice here....habeh la......

Well, this time around is at Parkroyal. Actually, me and h ganti puasa, so we decided to buka puasa there.
Food is nice, till tak larat makan.

Toys R Us

Kids and toys....as usual, nak beli something, end-up with few things.
Tujuan asal beli car-seat, terpaksa plak beli shopping-cart sekali. Anyway, it was cute.
