Smurf 3D

Waited for this for sooo long.

Maka, as soon as we reach KL (from Ipoh), by late evening, straight to Pavillion to watch this. Actually i'd watched this wif heave-hearted as I dunt want F to enjoy so much. Dah le raya that day tak belajo sangat kan...

But since H insisted, and this is my fav cartoon, how can I say 'no'????

Learnt a thing today- It seems we cant book 3D movies online.

Hmm..excuse me, since when? and why I didnt know?
In reality: I'd cease practising the online booking eversince H got his GSC card.
Say...2 years back? huhu.

So, we need to rush to Pavillion & secure the ticket. Phewww..lucky it is Friday (2/9/11), so dpt la book good seatings.

Back to Smurf.

Woowww!!! it was superb!! I'd enjoy the movie wayyy it was 25 years ago (what??).

Its just that this time it is modified with technologies, hoho.

Best part of smurf is the 'smurfies song'!!!
Na na, na na na na...na na na na na....


Best part of movies-the smurf village. I love those mushroom houses.
However it only part of the beginning & end of scenes, the rest are in NY...

In short- thumbs up to Smurf 3D.

Toy Story 3

Last week, during the school holiday, went to watch the Toy Story 3 in 3D@ Pavillion,

Kids were excited (and me too, hehe)

And now, the grown up Andy is going to college.
her mum ask him to decide if he wanted to get away with the toys or keep it.

Then, Andy keep some of his toys in a plastic bag & decided to bring Woody along.
Andy intend to keep those toys in plastic bag into the attic, which then his mum thot the plastic bag is just 1 of a normal garbage & put it at the grabage bin.

Jeng jeng jeng...it was then the journey/story started...

In short it was quite a good movie, thumbs up!!!
But, theres its just not so much of 3D effects thats all, but in overall, it is still ok, tho.

Love the movie. Watched it back then in 1997. I've its video, but as usual, video player pun dah kaput now ni.

Been looking everywhere, Speedy & other dvd centre, cant get one. They'd even never heard of it!!.

It left me no choice, got to buy it from eBay (plus the rate is quite low now, heheh)

Movie was about 4 good friends, meeting up for reunion and they'd flashed back into one of their best summer as kids.

A must have movie i would say, a good one, especially for girls, hehe.

Finally..got my ticket for the movie.

Yeehaaa!!!

Actually bought it last Friday.

Our show is at 6.30pm. Watched it along with H and my sis.

Yup, I like it. if u ask me, I shudda give it 4 stars out of 5.

I'd always thot the show will gonna have lotta interviews..and maybe some slot on MJ's background or at least a shoot on the farewell.

Nevertheless, I was totally wrong!!!

'This is it' is all about his O2 concert. Its a total rehearsal footages.

Whoaaa....its such a waste that the concert never got thru.

To me, its the best concert ever in the making. Its his last masterpiece, thus he gave all his. It was all brilliant...as usual, thumbs up for the 'Smooth Criminal'.

Conclusion- those dancers and musicians, and whoever involved in the series of concert would totally arggghhh...errrghh..whyyyy.....and sort of...coz they're unable to perform for MJ's O2 concerts after hours of practising. How sad..

Err...a bit during the 'I'll be there' coz the background will definitely displaying all his childhood momentos, huhu.

In short, I'd truly enjoyed the movie & gonna watch it again wif my F. She'd pleaded for it, eh.

The Other Day

Went to Alamanda Putrajaya the other day

(whatelse to do, after checking the progress of the Nusaputra)

Decided to watch Ice Age 3 there. We really wanted to watch the 3D, but sigh..no 3D in Alamanda..and Pavillion is always full-hse..grr..

Conclusion: 5 star for Ice Age 3.

Lotta adventures..lurve it!! We'd fun...wish we'd a chance to watch the 3D..sighh..

How it is served

Cara-cara..

1. Fold the daun kaduk in a con-alike.

2. Add all the above ingredients, jgn lupa letak sos ye..(tu yg kaw sekali..slurrpss)

Letak sos..then ngap!!!..must eat everything at once...while muching it...when all the udang, cilipadi, sos, ginger etc permeates..hmm..yummy!!!

Makan busat the other day. Its been a while that we hadnt this makan2 busat. Note that I rarely post those foodie pics nowadays rite???

So, this is our Squid with cashew nuts sauce...hmmm so tempting!

Nights In Rodanthe

Last weekend, to the Pavillion again (again???)

Whats so good 'bout it? Thot we wanna watch the Fast&Furios3, but since we reach there quit late, decided to jalan2 instead.

Bought few fairies books (again???), will share it later, but depending on my intuition (what does intuition got to do with blogging anyway, huh-but I do believe in that).

Well, while I'm in the dvd store, H wave this dvd to me.

Whoa!!!! my 'Nights in Rodanthe'??

Great!!! The movie was not released in our cinema but at least the dvd arrived. Good enuf, Quickly grabbed it, furthermore its just RM49.90. Obviously quite cheap, compared to others.
Bought other dvds as well, (while my main intention is to search for the 'Stolen Hearts', sigh).

Bought Serendipity(love this) and All About Ah Long (a kantonese movie-looking for it for so longg).

Nights in Rodanthe

Unlike other Nicholas Spark's adapted movies(Walk to Remember & The Notebook), I can say that this movie is almost 100% adapted from the novel, except the fact that in the novel, Adrianne is actually is flashing-back & recalling those memories to her disheartened daughter.

Love the house (or is it suppose to be the motel) by the shore...just beautiful

At a glance, the movie is about a man and woman in a middle-age crisis where their life is halfway thru, but somehow all seems so wrong.
Adrianne’s x-husband wanted to mend their relationship whilst Paul (a doctor) is running away from his life when his wife and son left him for being so committed to his job and neglected them.
The two then happened to met at the motel and find that they complete each other.

Paul then left to join his son in Ecuador and promised Adrianne he’ll be back for her in a year, once he manage to convince his son and put everythings right again between them.

So, theres love-letters for jovial Adrianne through out the year, waiting for Paul to come back to her. …guess what happen next….

(why am I becoming a movie reviewer suddenly?, huh. Not bad for a novice, ha)

Thats 'bout it. Love the movie, and if u're wondering how I love these kind of movies: Its because its our life reality. And each of these came with a life message and lessons to be learned, or in short ‘its our life’.

As my sis said to me- I live in fantasy.

Shes probably rite but hey lets fantasized, nothings wrong. At least I’ve been ‘there’ once, and I knew how its like.

Pavillion Spree

As I told in my previous post, after F sports day, went directly to Pavillion. Main reason is to catch the 'Confession of A Shopaholic'. We managed to watch the 1st show@12.30noon.

H planned to sleep while inside but hey, its hilarious as I expected, so H watched it till the end.

From my observation, it diverts almost 70% of its fiction. But its ok, not that bad, in fact so much of funny slot, all the way! And never expect Luke Brandon is that good looking & quite surprise when Derek Smeath is that 'horrid'. O' why they depicted a 'banker' that horrid..huhu..bare that its only Derek ok, but not us..heh.

Next in my waiting list, definitely the 'Fast & Furious'. Should watch it somewhere next week.

Pavillion...busy with F1 event that day. Nevertheless, it's still my fav spot.

Lingering around Times. As usual, surely will grab sumting.

Each month, can spend hundreds on books. Dunno why, but I do love books.

But this time around, bought books only 'bout 'Fairies', inclusive Peter Rabbit and Strawberry Shortcake each (now T is mad 'bout S.Shortcake & Dora, everything must be connected to any of them)

And this, actually for me, why? Coz its all about fairies and the flowers (owww girlish part of me..)

Troy, already got the VCD, but tamak punyer pasal, nak gak beli dvd...Coyote Ugly..i love this movie..it reminds me of 'me'...Twilight-a new movie..saja je beli...One Fine Day- watched it sumtime ago, but already forgotten. Bought it coz its a 'lomantik' movie..hahah..


And these..dvd for my all time favourite-'Nirvana'. Spot U2 too...so apalagi, kasi angkat dua2 la kan. Got both Nirvana, but its in video cassette format..mana leh tengok lagik dong....so, kena la bli yg dvd format lak....(peghangai hudoh kannn??)

Inkheart

We're into movies lately. Watched it for almost each week.

The latest one, the Inkheart. A story where Brandon Fraser has the ability to make those characters in story book he read comes into reality. Nice one, except that its not that much of fairy tales as what i'm expected.Cilok punye pic. Wonder why it showed released in march 08.

Watched it at Pavillion...and while there, ternyopping lak @ Zara..errr..err...well, its not included in the banned product rite...so, its still ok, rite?

Another movie, watched it somewhere middle of Jan. Thot it was sort of fairies kind of movie, actually, a hilarious one..u know, when there's adam sandler...hehe.. love this part - raining buble gums.. Theres 4 straight off-days due to chinese new year..yippa...how its sooo nice to have a free leaves...need not to come to office, and yet still can save our annual leave...well, thats a lot!!!! best nyer...

Spend time for jalan2 around KL. Decide not holidaying anywhere as everuwhere will definitely packed with people and same goes the traffic.
