Cameron Highland-Day 1

3 straight off-days. What a joy.

On the Saturday, F gotta attend a volleyball training till 'bout 12noon.

Pack-up and lunch at our no.1 kitchen in Ukay Perdana and started our journey to Cameron only at around 3pm.

Gosh, I was teribbly sleepy when we reach Rawang (guess its due to the nasi campor i had earlier, heheh) then goes zzzz (the part where H will always mumbling, coz he've to drive alone, sorry dear..heh).

It was raining cats & dogs once we're at Tapah to the extent that i was thinking twice 'bout going up there in this weather.

We will normally took the Simpang Pulai exit coz the road to up there is better. Though it's like going round a circle, its better be safe than sorry. Dont wanna risk driving on that narrow Tapah's road. Forgot to mention, wanna gave my car a hard time this time around, sebab jarang jalan jauh with my car...The hidden agenda: with the illusion--> i wont be buying tones of plants and flowers, as tiny car has limited space (kunun nyer..hehe)

I am proud with Malaysia's brand. Who else wanna proud with our brand, if it is not us?. Indirectly, i'm boosting my own country's economy and that'll definitely give impact to who else, if it is not me, my family and friends...chewahhh...(poyo je) ...

kids, they really love the good cooling weather. In fact, i'm enjoying it too.

Thats what make us going there, quite often.

Once H's ready, we continue our journey. And this time, to look for the hotel. Find out that hotels around Brinchang is quite pack and well-occupied too. So, flee to Merlin, near the golf club.

What surprises us, was that it is no more Merlin there, it was changed to CH Resorts (if i am not mistaken), so the rate per nite is RM1k plus..gulp..sorry..wrong number...they'd changed the management i assumed.

Then, next stop, the Casa de la Rosa. Theres available room and the rate is quite reasonable..ok, lets check it. It was already 7pm, and its time for freshen-up. We had have enough with the journey.

Waaaa......what an exquisite room. We got a 2 single beds room, intead of a king bed. It's still ok for us, so the 4 of us dont have to squeeze in one bed.

All the facilities are complete, except for the tv remote. Dunno know either we couldnt find it, or memang tak ada.

Whats more, theres a bath tub and toilet is equipped with a hose. phewwww..purrrrfect!!!

Most importantly, this hotel is not crowded at all, or probably it’s just overloaded last week, due to the CNY break. Thats the point of going up there this week.
The less the crowd, the better for us, yipppeee!!!!

Actually, i love everything 'bout roses, and this hotel works just rite for me...roses everywhere. Admire the colour of the bath(refer the 1st bathroom pic), really sweet (notice how girly i am??? yuckkss)

After freshen-up, we went out at around 9pm...dinner at a restaurant in Tanah Rata...

Back to hotel...forgot to mention, its drizzling tonite, continuosly eversince we reach here.

So..we are all brrrr..brrr..brrr at nite..it was soooo coldrrrr...

it makes me think, why on earth they didnt install the heater. (byk cekadak kan?)

Inkheart

We're into movies lately. Watched it for almost each week.

The latest one, the Inkheart. A story where Brandon Fraser has the ability to make those characters in story book he read comes into reality. Nice one, except that its not that much of fairy tales as what i'm expected.Cilok punye pic. Wonder why it showed released in march 08.

Watched it at Pavillion...and while there, ternyopping lak @ Zara..errr..err...well, its not included in the banned product rite...so, its still ok, rite?

Another movie, watched it somewhere middle of Jan. Thot it was sort of fairies kind of movie, actually, a hilarious one..u know, when there's adam sandler...hehe.. love this part - raining buble gums.. Theres 4 straight off-days due to chinese new year..yippa...how its sooo nice to have a free leaves...need not to come to office, and yet still can save our annual leave...well, thats a lot!!!! best nyer...

Spend time for jalan2 around KL. Decide not holidaying anywhere as everuwhere will definitely packed with people and same goes the traffic.

..but, i wont mind the way she pose. Coz, somehow 1 day i know she'll ceased stop that cheeky pose. So, let her pose the way she wanna pose. ..and i love it.

Gotta back to work..buhsan nya...but wait..we have another 3 staright off-day for 2 weeks in a row.

1 Feb - for the Federal Territory day..and 8th Feb (maybe), for the Thaipusam.

Chinese New Year Break-Balek Kampong

On Sunday-25th Jan, went back to my dad's kampong in Kuala Kangsar, Perak.

Always love the sceneries there.

But, timing aint right. Cant see those green sawah.

Actually theres a family gathering. Another Perkeni meeting; with my dad's family.

Then, about 9pm, move to my in-law's in Ipoh.

Overnite there and back to KL on the next day (on Monday), as we're expecting a heavy flow traffic on Tuesday.

Lunch at Genting

From Ulu Yam, made our way up to Genting.

Cool weather, but not that foggy.

Maybe coz its quit hot now, furthermore CNY's coming. As always, it'll be hot during CNY. As far as I can remember, its been about 2 weeks since its last rain here.

Made the kids promised not to enter the themepark, otherwise we'll go home straight.

So, kids promised just to drop & lepaking there and say 'No' to the themepark. Going to GH almost twice or thrice a year..and the sameeee themepark/games, over n over again..puhhleasss....then, bukan nya daku dpt main pun, asyik2 nak kena jaga theyall jek...

So, end up strolling at the Mushroom Garden.

Stop for lunch at an open car park. Not a long weekend, so, no crowds at all.
Then, we all start la membentang pareo and lepaking there.
