Salam Ramadhan

Tomorrow, its the 1st Ramadhan, and we're gonna start another fasting month.

As some might says, we should be grateful to breath and have a chance to meet another Ramadhan..its the time for us to grab more and more pahala in this month.

Lots of incoming Ramadhan wishes in my email; and some, with the same messages again and again.

But in another thought, it shows how I am surrounded by friends, and friends who would always include me in their circles. Thanx to u guyz.

So..gonna start fasting tomorrow. Gotta wake-up tonite for sahur (and what I'm doing here at 2a.m?)

Yayyy!!! finally I managed to bought the W.S.X number.

Why 7.7.0.1?

Truth is - I dont know.

Thats the number available today. And, all the rhythmic numbers has long gone. And this is what left. Wanted to buy 8 series number, but of coz wif another extra 100 bucks ready to be gone, but in other thot, surely 8 numbers are all running fast.

So, I better stick to 7 series, RM210 is just suffice, eh (bye 210..huhu).
And 7701?, It is actually almost similar to our current cars: 1101.


Why WSX?

I have some kind of weird feeling towards the alphabet 'X'. Thus, I found it beautiful (i think so).

As a matter of fact, I would always wanted a car with 'X' registration number. But somehow both of my cars dont have any 'X' coz for some reason, I couldnt wait for an 'X' each time I need to change cars.

So, when KL's car registration goes 'S', I have this naughty thoughts:
'Why dont I buy 'WSX'?. Wouldnt it be good as it has the 'S.X'" *wink-wink*

So, here I am with the registration number without any 'vehicle'...hahahh (weirdo part of me).

I wonder who bought the WSX 18, nice huh?

But the most beautiful number we ever had is H's first car-ADM 668.
Should retain the number, sighh...never think of that...

Outbreak

In my last posting 'bout H1N1 (in June) theres no death casualty yet and number of people infected are just 158.

But as of yesterday, the number of death is already 64 and around 4200 plus got infected since the 1st case. What a drastic increase!

The death made up of about 2% of total number ppl got infected. Yup, this is scary….no jokes.

The most scary fact is the impact of the virus to babies and toddlers. Since they got no or less immune, they are the most fragile group. Theres even 1 mth old baby dies of this. God…

So far, theres none in my circle got infected (alhamdulillah) but theres already 1 case in my office building, and a few suspected; but somehow cleared.

Quite worried for my doter as she needs to go to school and mingled with others. Made her to wear the mask while she’s in school.

Health ministry is projecting if theres not enough cautious & remedies, about 5 mill ppl may got infected in a year to come, which means….nearly 100,000 deaths???? Pliz..tell me this will not gonna happen.

So guyz, take care of our loved ones, don’t allow our kids and parents to be in a crowded places for nothing. They’re the most fragile group.

I’d promised myself, no more outing for movies, avoid any public swimming pool, less outing & shopping where possible..heck, less vacation, huhu…and reminding my kids & myself to take the vit.C without fails and wash their hands frequently.
Theres even a do’a for the outbreak (kena hafal cepat2 nih).

Lucky I’ve done all the raya shopping for the kids last month so we don’t have to meet the crowds. And if u guys wanna shopping for raya, better do it now.

Heard that the medication WILL arrived somewhere in October. Hope so…

Not sure what’ll happen in November. Sadly we’d planned for Bali this Nov., without knowing H1N1 swine flu is a prolong outbreak, sigh…

Weekend

Something from early of this month.

Oww, what a back-posting!

(I just cant spare the time to update my blog during weekdays, schedule is quite tight)

Went to The Mines the other day, after paying the normal routine visit to Nusaputra.

Main reason going there is to take a peep to the Crocs boutique there (& shopping as usual, heh)

Manage to 'smuggled' few pics. One thing 'bout the boutique, I love the colourful and 'liveliness' of the boutique. So, a shot is a must.

Then, drop by for Starbuck's coffee. Kinda miss it already coz rasa mcm dah lama tak drop by here. Got a free cute mug, but not sure for what reason. Probably coz the purchase is more than 50bucks.

Went back at around 6pm.

Grr...such a bad traffic heading to KL & it's caused by not other than the gathering by the anti-ISA. So we had to turnback and find other alternative road.

Wdf, sapa la yg jadi 'balachi' tu..pastu siap bawak anak-bini join berarak bagai..menyusahkan org aje. One thing for sure, most of them are outsiders, ntah dtg dari kamfong mana tak taw la kan, pastu sanggup lak jadi balachi pakcik sorang tu.

Come on, get a life, tak yah ikut2 org boleh tak?

I was there when the riot was everywhere in 98. And these people, puhlease laaa...they would simply damaged all the traffice-lights, bins, lampu jln, bus-stop etc..protes la konon, but why all the vandalism? Yg pompuan pun sama, heran aku. Siap terajang sana-sini, eeiii tak malu ke?

At that time, me & colleagues just cant get out for lunch, all trapped inside. And the guard need to lock our main door, just in case all these people rushed-in. We can only have our lunch after 2pm.

Time balik pun macam tu, we cant go out with those guys rioting outside.

Some ppl may just simply suka2 join the riot, but pls, theres so much troublesome u create to others. Pity those kids, pregnant ladys or elderly who are nearby. Siap jatuh2 depa tu, sian tau.

I dont know, but to me whoever goes against the isa, must have some hidden agenda. Unlike ppl like us, we dont give a damn, coz we dont do anything wrong. That's it.

Coz the jam is sooo unbearable, baik la daku layan MJ nyer konsert..btw it took us 2 hrs to reach home, damn..

Kids, got busy with the Wii (but only in the first week).

By now, my Wii has started to collected dusts, uhuks.

Even I barely touch it, so little time...

Went to H's office last week

Nothing, other than to rembat some boxes as he just move to this floor.

So got plenty extra boxes. Need that to pack-up our things nanti.

The Other Day

Went to Alamanda Putrajaya the other day

(whatelse to do, after checking the progress of the Nusaputra)

Decided to watch Ice Age 3 there. We really wanted to watch the 3D, but sigh..no 3D in Alamanda..and Pavillion is always full-hse..grr..

Conclusion: 5 star for Ice Age 3.

Lotta adventures..lurve it!! We'd fun...wish we'd a chance to watch the 3D..sighh..


Then, makan2 time. (actually we fill-up our stomach b4 watching the movie)

Kelapa parut bakar (shredded coconuts)

Kacang n yummylicious udang kering

Daun kaduk

Cili padi, limau, bawang and bit of ginger

How it is served

Cara-cara..

1. Fold the daun kaduk in a con-alike.

2. Add all the above ingredients, jgn lupa letak sos ye..(tu yg kaw sekali..slurrpss)

Letak sos..then ngap!!!..must eat everything at once...while muching it...when all the udang, cilipadi, sos, ginger etc permeates..hmm..yummy!!!

Makan busat the other day. Its been a while that we hadnt this makan2 busat. Note that I rarely post those foodie pics nowadays rite???

So, this is our Squid with cashew nuts sauce...hmmm so tempting!
