Work In Progress 2

Some update on Nusaputra progress.

H searching up and low for contractors who can continue the renovation job. Suggested to get other external contractor i.e. someone who'd never been to NP, but as a man is always a man, takkan nyer nak dengar cakap kita kan?

Plus, other external contractor pun never get back to him, a sign that they never had interest to complete someone's job.

Finally H managed to get a contractor there, (indon la plak, this time), but all the arrangement are made together with his boss, a local. Phewww..so far, things been quite good.

Above - are part of tiles we bought for the 4th room and some paints for the ceilings.

H went there yesterday, find out the tiling for 4th room was almost complete.

Even one of the tile pun dah terjatuh, nampak sangat tak lekat kan betul2, haprak nyer bangla-

At time being, things seems like worked as planned.

But H still wanna monitor the progress closely.

Bad news is that we may only move in somewhere next year, coz all have been shifted to plan B.

Takpe la..mungkin jugak ada hikmahnya, who knows?

Another backdated post

Uploading pics are killing me, really, :)

A weekend trip to Malacca or Melaka.

Some mosaics around the town. But the ocean view, its from our condo.

Went there wif my parents & sis.

Btw, before marching-up south, we did drop by at Nusaputra, just to look around. My poor house..huhu..was left abandoned. And I'm not in the mood to renovate the house again.

Makna katanya, daku takkan berpindah in this year, huhu.

Upon reaching Melaka, drop by at uncle's house in Durian Tunggal for lunch.

Mmm...daging masak asam nyer, sungguh la power. Melaka's specialty kan...makan dgn ikan bakar lak tu..fuhhh...maap, malas mak post the pic here.

Then, we went check-in in Garden City Apartment, relax and freshen-up for what to be the main reason we are here.

A wedding reception....yeah..i love to attend any wedding reception, its where everything was beautiful, filled with lovely (and tiring) faces, there'll be flowers, laces, beautiful door gifts, meeting up with relatives or friends...etc..etc..

Dinner time...

We arrived quite late though...jem la plak kat town Melaka ni.

Good thing is, we all dapat duduk depan..hahah..ala2 vip la plak, masuk lambat, duduk depan lagik, hehe...nasib baik awal sikit je dari super vip, choyyyy! kalo dak..adus...But we need to split-up. Me, H, kids and sis. While my parents sat along wif other relatives.

Happy Deepavali

Wishing all my indian friends a Happy Deepavali.

It is actually made of coloured rice.

We left to Malacca today for a wedding. Will share the photos as usual.

One Malaysia Department's Lunch

My Dept held a makan2 session again.

This time around, it is the theme day titled - 'One Malaysia makan2'.

As it is still Syawal, the dept decided to invite our fellow neighbors and other key-personnel who had liaised a lot with our dept.

As a result, a party for 30 had turned to a party to 130 guests (due to last minute changes of plan)

But all seems running smoothly, foods are nice and welcoming and not forgetting, enuf for everyone.

Ok, a must question, what I'd brought for the makan2 right?

As usual 'org bujang' cam I ni cuma mampu bawak yg simple2 je la kan...daku bawak la nasik empet..coz my team kena bawak the malay food.

Maka dgn semangat One Malaysia, the entire dept & other guests penuh bersemangat juga mengisi perut masing2 that day.

Thanks to the organizing comittee and fellow colleagues yg bertungkus-lumus preparing for the lunch. A good one!!

As for myself, I'd declare the Friday as no-work day, heheh.

So, here i am, playing around with my 'cikai' lense, yipppeee...

Ops, forgot to mention, I came late today.

My F's cornea got a discharge blockage. Adoyai..kena lak pegi tawakal & thank god Mr. doc. managed to help cleaning-up her cornea. Aduss..memacam la budak tu.

Next Tuesday is her next appointment with her opthamologist.

To wrap this posting, lets share what I got for being announced as the best dressed female for the day.

Hair Cut

Its about time for a hair cut.

Guess who need the haircut?

Me and Thumbelina.

Our hair are long enuf and I'd really wanted to cut it but decided to keep until the Hari Raya.

So when the time comes- bye2 my hair...

Before

H and F both washed their hair. As usual, F enjoys someone shampooing her hair.

Cut her hair really short and that makes her chubby cheeks became so obvius, hehe.

Playing around with the hair spray (dasar tak bley duduk diam).

H is Down

As usual, a trip to nusaputra is a must on every weekend.

But this time around, theres double-triple dissappoinment as the contractor told us he'd completed the tiles in master bathroom but it seems nothing had progressed.

So, I'd insisted H to look for other contractor as ours seems sooooo slow in progress. the reno started in July but nothing much completed todated.

Look, here was how the ceiling look on 24th Aug

And this - on 24th September. Took a month to complete the plastering, & still not completed thoroughly with some downlight wrongly placed.

And I'm quite surprised why he'd install the fan for the porch whilst things not yet complete. Isnt this suppose to be among the final job?

So, H went to other house where he is using the same contractor.

What a good news-the owner was there. And he told me he'd terminated the contracted.

He claimed, his work are all mess-up & he's been working for his house for 5 month!. WDF!Alllooo..a small banglow pun buleh siap if 5 mth ok?

look, he'd install all the fans that we'd delivered. H bought the fan & sent it right there. mistake is, we never told him to keep the fan first & the stupid contractor dont even tell us he wanna install the fan.

H tried to call the contractor but to no avail. he didnt answer the call.

Worst that few workers there told us that they hardly saw him since Ramadhan & never after the Raya (but we met him last week).

What piss us is that last week H paid him RM1k as he said he wanna complete the bathroom & nothing is done!

He's been calling H since before raya pleading for 3k, to continue work & pay the labor, chitttt! tipu punya bangla, nasib baik H bagi 1k je...

In short we'd to terminate him, but H loss bout 3k for the deposit of the grille and bout another 4.5k for the 3phase electric installation. Byk tu weh..cilakak tul la bangla tu.siap ko.

So, he was soooo down the whole day for the losses. Nak kena bayar lain tu satu hal lagik...nak carik org to complete the work lagi satu hal. adoyai..

We decided to take all our electrical & bathroom fittings. Kang tak pasal2 hilang lak. Chittt! .

Patut tak if we all tak halal kan duit tu?? patut la kan?? tipu punya worang!

Other Hari Raya Events

So.....another Eid Fitr posting.
(bored eh?) Ok -this gonna be my final one.

We gathered at mum's on Sat. (on the 7th Raya) just to celebrate the Raya on our own 'version'.

Reason-no one is around on the 1st Eid, & havent bermaaf2an wif my parents/siblings.

Here we are after the makan2 event.

So, theres nasi impit with lontong n kuah kacang by my mum. And I did roasted chicken the nite before. My intention is to cook the rendang, but sis insist for a roasted chicken, ok larrr...

Chicken is not burned hoccay??? its the lighting (bukan nak cover arr..ni betul ni)

At my in-law's. With H's brothers. This was on the 1st day of Eid. Notice that my babies was nowhere in pics? Ok, maybe F is around, but really down in mood; she's tired n sleepy.

Then, went to visit my bro at his in-law's. He just got a baby girl on 29th August.

Oopsss, MJ's birthday I can see *wink*wink*.

Baby Dhiya was soooo cute & chubby.

I am normally dare not to cuddle less than 2 months babies. But for Dhiya, anything will do!

And she just dont care...and sleep all the way!
