Breakfast & went out at 10am (bit late tho..)
First pit stop- Sanur beach.
Holiday Villa Diwangkara is just nearby, fyi.
*
*
Then we made way to 'Ubud'.
Various arts villages are there and each village is specifically hancrafted a single type of products e.g. goldsmith, paintings, wood carvings or kites.
*
Here, at 'Batu Bulan' village, where batik painting and weaving are their main industries.
We passed by 'Mas' where it is the center of silver and gold handicrafts. Those silver & golds are gained from other island but all the crafting are made here.
Drop dead gorgeous!
IRP4.8m...hm probably ard. RM1.7k.
Love this- a stunning arowana.
Handicraft shops are located all the way in Ubud but we're just passing by as we've no intention to buy any. But would suggest that visiting this area is a must!
We passed by kampung area & experienced locals lifestyle. Balinese houses were everywhere..and everything was so 'Balis',heh (will share those sceneries in my other post, k?) .
*
Next stop -Pasar Ubud (the marketplace)
A place to shop for handicrafts. Tons of item.
Lets share some. Clockwise-handmade guitars & drums, 'unique' bottle openers (daku tak paham, byk betul mende nih, yg ashtray ada, keychain ada..mcm2 kaler lak tuh, ahah..tak daya...), women accessories and wooden kittie cats..(I'd finally forgotten to buy those cats on the sofa..huhu...)

Next- we reach 'Tegallalang'. It is famous for its padi bukit (terraced paddy field).
But to me, padi bukit in Padang has better scenes. This is quite small unlike @ Padang : seluas mata memandang, so lagi cantik.
As usual, craft shops are all around.
*
Next - Kintamani.
I'd slept on the way to Kintamani. Which means it took probably more than 1 hour to reach there.
Lake Batur, the largest lake in Bali.
Was told by our Supir, actually Balinese will placed dead bodies to the far side of the lake. Its part of either their culture or rituals where bodies were left there by the trees, scary huh?
Then tetiba teringat, yes, i watched it once in Discovery Channel of how Balinese 'buried' the dead.
And, if they're wealthy enuf, the bodies will be left afloat on the lake. Unique ait it?

Mount Batur.
As told by our supir, the last explosion was in 1992 and it is still an active volcano.
View is from the resto; we'd lunch facing the mountain.
It was cooling there, its the best part of my trip, really. The view is magnificent, with the cool breeze..ahhh...it was all soothing!

Pewut pun dah konyang, apalagaa...slept on our way to Tanah Lot. God knows how long the journey was. Or was it almost 2 hours? sorry, i left my watch back home & its kind of lazy to keep on looking at my hp's digital clock.
Ow, btw, theres no time difference btw Malaysia & Bali island. Its just that dawn is around 6.30am & maghrib at 6pm. By 7.30am, it was already sumting like 9am, damn hot!
Here we are at Tanah Lot
..and here's why..
Actually it is currently low tide. If it is high tide, the temple afar will be an island by itself.
Imagine how beautiful its gonna be.

Sunset at Tanah Lot.

Sunset at Tanah Lot.
We're by the shoreline facing Indian Ocean, therefore the wave is quite massive there.
In fact, in all beaches in Bali. No wonder lots of Australian went there for surfing.

Lepaking sambil membasahkan tekak.
'Es Teller' nye habis la plak...actually it is sumting like our 'ABC' here. We ordered air kelapa instead.

It was around 6.30pm when we left Tanah Lot.
Back to Kuta & H couldnt wait for pampering himself with a massage.
Drop by for a spa suggested by Pak supir.

Drop by for a spa suggested by Pak supir.
H opt for 2 hours massage, me - 1 hr massage & facial and 1 hr spa (lulur, mangir, etc), F&T-1 hr spa. For the whole 5 hrs service it costs us IRP270,000.
Or, after conversion, equivalent to around RM105. wallaaa...damn cheap!
