London-Day 3

Hi there...hmm..it could take years for me to update my trip here.

Lets move to my day 3...

So, heres the view from my hotel's window. Hotel punya la tinggi, tapi we all duduk 3rd flr. Ask H to change to higher floor, dia malas, coz nak kena activate internet la..etc..la...hmmmphhhh...sabo je la..view tak menarik langsong, chaiisss (Actually i can view the whole Hyde Park & Kensinton Gardens if H willing to change the room, frust betul la...org takde perasaan camni la..huhu..)

Our room
On day 3, went out quite late, i.e. almost 10.30am. I've all my itinery, but its less than the day before.

Today, i will:

1. Tour the Kensington gardens.

2. Go to Bayswater to buy some souvenirs.

3. Drop by at Hamley's toy store (semalam terlupa)

4. To get back to hotel around 4.30pm, and then off to Harrods with H.

KG is actually just next to Hyde parkFlowers around KG My apology...i love flowers soooo much. I'll share lots of 'em.

hmmm....gorgeous!! two-tones violets tak tau munge aper..

violets again.. The flowers are so fresh, as fresh as I am. And hatiku sungguh berbunga2...this is definitely one of my 'moment in life'.

It was all brown and green, with few yellow daffodils (narcissus) started to bloom all around the garden....

My gratitude goes to both my feet. they really did a good job!

Actually its quite far for me to reach Princess Diana's memorial fountain. Jalan je la slow2..lagipun its cooling, so I wont mind. Jauh berjalan, luas pemandangan...abes la segala ituk, burung aku tegur...

So, here I am...

To me, its not really a fountain kut...its more to a circle of clear-water flowing calmly, peacefully..

or, this could be the fountain perhaps, a small one.

After few minutes of sitting & relaxing my feet, here I go again...hajat hati nak ke Kensington Palace.

Then, spot these cute dogs. Doggie kat sini memang la cute-mute, yg hairy, yg botak licin, yg halus, poodle, semua ada. Bet my fairy sure gonna love those.

I'm aiming for Kensington Palace, where I suddenly spot something really high & golden. Thot it was the palace, rupanya King Albert's monument.

Opposite the monument is the Royal Albert Hall, just across the road. Takde apa2 yg gempak pun...next to it is the Albert's College of Art.

I dont really go infront of the gate. Just capture this from afar. My feet are begging me...

The palace was once became the residence of the late Lady D..hmmm..no wonder the memorial is just nearby.

Then , lepak2 lagi for a while before continuing my journey...even ada mat2 saleh yg tegur, daku buat2 pekak badak or I'll quickly pretending not hearing them & turned away.

Key is, dont ever look into their eyes.

After a quick break, I'd continue my journey to Queensway. I dont take any train, I just walk to far end of KG, then I'm in Queensway already.

From Queensway, I'd walked a bit to Bayswater..ala, dekat aje...

Around Bayswater...

The McD there are all brown in concept.

Theres a lot of souvenirs shop here, sorry i'm damn lazy to paste the pic here.

Even spot this resto. Rasa macam nak try, dah few days tak dapat nasik ni..wakaka... But after thinking twice, i think i cant see the 'halal' sign, OR, maybe daku yg tak nampak, plus, I'm alone anyway, so forget 'bout it.Tempat daku melepaskan lelah di Bayswater. Dah la dgn plastik nyopping berpunjut2...ish..ishh..ishh..

The reason I'm lepaking there?? sebab ada munger la...beautiful peonies...Then, took the tube, back to Lancaster Gate, means back to my hotel.

While I'm about to continue my 2nd outing, got a phn call from a fren. She informed that our friend, the one that I visited exactly a week before, has passed away.

Goshh...this is serious!!

I dont think it was this early for her... al-fatihah for her...
She'd left behind an 8 years old son, along with her hb...sedey nyer...

Back to my journey...I went to Oxford Circus again. It was around 3.30pm. Still, people were everywhere...hmm..bila la daku nak dpt ketenangan kat Oxford St. ni..

Actually I missed this toy shop yesterday.

Gotta repeat it today...yayy..Hamleys...the famous toy store.
Waited for H there...I'd waited for him in GAP boutique. See???? it was easy in London, u wont get lost, hahahh!!

Off we went to Harrods. From Oxford Circus, we took an interchange at Green Park to took the Picaddily Line. From Green Park, we took a tube to South Kensington.

Tadaaaa....we're in Harrods already.

Around Harrods

Actually its just my sister who kirim the Harrods bag. I dont even bother to buy any. But end up, daku lak yg lelebih, beli for me & mum...melampau!!!..

But still, I'd felt guilty & regret coz I dont buy any for my girls... Harrods- at nite.

Couldnt imagine if it is christmas, sure lagi cantik kan.....(tak leh jadi ni...nak kena repeat nih, haha)

From South Kensington tube, we took the Circle Line to Bayswater as H wanted to buy some souvenirs as well. Yup, souvenirs around Bayswater are quite cheap.

But, all that said, I'd also gotten few things yg cheaper than the one in Bayswater. Camne tu??

As example I've got an ashtray for 0.99pds somewhere from Picadilly Circus area, but in Bayswater, tetiba ashtray tu dah jadi 1.99 or some, for about 2.99pds...camna? naseb la kan....thing is, jgn kedekut ngan diri sendiri, bedal aje...rezeki ada di mana2..chewahhh(pepandai je gue..) posing kat phone booth lagik....

Stop by at halal resto for dinner...erkk....tak sedap pon...
From upper left: Hot choc (but this is marvellous, really!! sebab daku sejuk kut...huhu), kuah for the roti, the roti (tak ingat nama), then the preserved chilli, olive & carrots.

Errk...the preserved foods tu tak leh masuk langsong la...hampes..
